COIN Climate Change Speaker Series
We hear all the time about climate change, but how much do we really know about what it means for our lives? Building on the success of COIN's 2005 Speaker Series, the 2006-2007 series began last month with two top speakers, Eco-lawyer Maria Adebowale, Director of the Environmental Law Foundation and Andrew Simms, Policy Director and head of the Climate Change programme at the New Economics Foundation.
The next event will be on Thursday June 22, featuring Ruth Bond, a trustee of the Women's Institute board member of Stop Climate Chaos, and Good Energy's Chief Executive, Juliet Davenport. The title of the event is "Women and climate change: is the female of the species more deadly than the male?"
